Angel Tree is a ministry of Prison Fellowship. For over 30 years FCC has participated in this project, which is a ministry for the children of prisoners at Christmas time.
Every year we receive a list of children provided by Prison Fellowship. This year we provided 20 children from all over Southwest Iowa with 2 gifts each. FCC members sign up to provide gifts and members also assist in delivering the gifts. Those that help with the delivery report back with stories of the joy that the children express, when they receive the gifts. The children feel remembered and loved by their parent, even though that parent was going to be imprisoned at Christmas.
Karen Dean heads this project and is assisted by Deb Slaughter and other members of our FCC family.
